Another BIG thanks to buyers and bidders for your support of our February born On-Line Sale featured on ShowStockPlanet!!  Sale results below......(average sale price $1132)

Lot 1
Ear Tag: 163
DOB: 2/15/2017
Sex: Wether
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Hustler
Birth Type: Single
Notes/ Comments: We are initiating this sale with as one that’s as trendy, complete and FLAT GOOD as any we’ve offered all year. Just like his dad, this Gizmo wether comes equipped with TONS of power, bone, mass and rib. He’s incredibly opened up yet his presence from the profile takes this guy to the next level- being so correct in his lines and perfectly proportional from every angle. Structure wise he’s massive in his bone work, square to the ground, and extremely rugged and flexible in his movement. Size wise we have some flexibility- he’s a single born that has taken off and could easily be a player in August/September, or could be managed for later in the fall for someone down south needing a STOUT one. We fully realize we are getting later in the year and show barns are filling up with purchases, but this is one special creature that you can clear out some pen space and make room for!

Lot 2
Ear Tag: 181
DOB: 2/24/2017
Sex: Wether
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Famous Amyx x Chrome raised by Sidwell
Birth Type: Twin
Notes/ Comments: I had mixed emotions last spring when we went out and bought a few Dorset ewes in hopes of raising some good speckle face sheep. I wasn’t sure of what the market was like and I wasn’t sure how difficult it would be to make them good. Maybe it was beginners luck, but I am confident in telling you that this wether is GOOD- REALLY GOOD. And I don’t mean “good for a speck” – I mean good, period. Make him a blackface and he’s still one of the Top 5 wethers we raised this year. Skeletally 181 is wide based, square built, and extra stout in his bone work. From the side, he’s good necked, clean chested, and draws back perfect in his lines. Muscle wise, he handles big and square over a bold and round rib and as you’ll see in the pictures wedges back to a big pin set and lower leg. I apologize for throwing the term book at you here, but this guy really does have it all and I would think would be awfully difficult to get around in his breed at ANY SHOW at ANY LEVEL. We hope and pray this guy finds a good home and gets the opportunity to compete at a high caliber show where people take the Speckle division seriously.

Lot 3
Ear Tag: 171
DOB: 2/21/2017
Sex: Wether
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Swagger100
Birth Type: Twin
Notes/ Comments: This little guy is young and immature but he’s loaded with quality pieces. He’s the kind that everyone can and will appreciate. If you want them powerful- he’s a wide chested, rood ribbed sheep that’s big and square over his rack and progresses into a big pin set and stout hip/leg. If you want them pretty- he’s certainly that as well. He’s as driven up in his chest, neat fronted, and as correct in his balance as they come. Structurally this guy is flawless in his build and even cooler loose in the pen than he is braced. Balance, structure, power, and most important quality- it’s ALL here. Get this guy home, feed him hard and he will shine this fall. We absolutely love this dude- the sky’s the limit here.

Lot 4
Ear Tag: 173
DOB: 2/21/2017
Sex: Wether
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Paws
Birth Type: Twin
Notes/ Comments: 173 is as intriguing as any wether in this lineup. From the profile he’s as freaky in his pattern as you can make one. He’s really elevated at the top of his shoulder, long necked and round and shallow in his body shape. He’s much more than just a pretty sheep though, still remaining wide built, opened up in his chest floor and big in his hip. He goes to the ground square and true and is one of the fuzziest legged, stoutest boned sheep we’ve sold this year. Power meets design in this guy- it’s hard to get them to pattern up this way and still offer substance like this guy does. Don’t get caught sleeping on this guy!

Lot 5
Ear Tag: 161
DOB: 2/1/2017
Sex: Wether
Sire: HUSTLER (Pimp juice son)
Dam: Grizz (dam was Reserve Grand Wether Dam MO State Fair 2015)
Birth Type: Twin
Notes/ Comments: This bigger early Feb wether is as complete and solid as they come. Genetically his mom (pictured) is one of the best on the farm- being named Reserve wether dam in ’15 at Missouri State Fair. He’s a good structured, powerful lamb that packs plenty of mass from end to end. He’s still heavy structured, correct on his feet and legs, and offers a balanced, uniform look from the profile. Size and age wise he would feed perfect for a later summer fair and could go into the fall easily if needed. A LOT of flexibility and tons of good in this Hustler sired wether, with a pedigree as good as any in this offering.

Lot 6
Ear Tag: 182
DOB: 2/24/2017
Sex: Ewe
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Famous Amyx x Chrome raised by Sidwell
Birth Type: Twin
Notes/ Comments: We spent a lot of time bragging up this girl’s brother up above (LOT 2), and this one is right there with him. Quality wise she’s everything that her brother is. We don’t claim to be speck experts, but I think you would be very hard pressed to go out and find many others like her that are this clubby and unique. She’s a moderate framed stout legged ewe that’s super round bodied. Up front she’s wide and clean in her chest floor and really neat in her neck attachment and frontend design and only gets wider as you go back to her hip. Structurally she stays wide based and powerful in her build. This ewe’s mom was purchased from Sidwell last year and is quickly making a name for herself at our place; don’t miss out on a genetic gem with a killer look to go with it.

Lot 7
Ear Tag: 172
DOB: 2/21/2017
Sex: Ewe
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Swagger100
Birth Type: Twin
Notes/ Comments: With our ongoing goal to continue to progress the power and rib shape in our flock, selling 172 probably isn’t the smartest decision we’ve ever made! Simply put, this Gizmo x Swagger100 daughter is as thick and massive as you’d ever want one. Rib shape, rack/loin, and shear power from end to end is 2nd to none in this female. Despite all of this power, she still puts it all into a package that is maternal and high quality. She’s a ewe that’s spot-on in her balance, sound on her feet and legs, and still correct in her front end design. If you are looking for a good complete ewe to breed or show, and need an extra shot or two of mass and power- you don’t want to lose the extended bidding war on Lot 7.

Lot 8
Ear Tag: 162
DOB: 2/15/2017
Sex: Ewe
Sire: GIZMO (Grizz son)
Dam: Hustler (dams mom raised '11 MO State Fair Grand Market lamb)
Birth Type: Single
Notes/ Comments: CLUBBY CLUBBY CLUBBY. That’s the first word that comes to mind when someone asks me about 162. We love the way this one’s shaped from front to back. Her body shape is ultra-round. She is bold and square in her rack and loin, she’s big hipped and really cool from a ¾ view. For as much shape as she’s packing, Her entire frontend assembly is as “out-there” as we’ve offered- on the set-up she’s a really tall fronted, level hipped ewe that is really fuzzy legged and modern in her build and look. Her grandma has done a consistent job for us- including raising Troy’s grand market lamb in 2011 at Missouri. We are ending this sale with a unique breeding piece that can do big things both in the ring and out in the pasture. Please take the time to study the pictures and realize how unique this one really is!
